Water Proof MP3 Player

I always like running.

But running is not something that you could do anytime, anywhere for a working adults like me because running at night is not the best time in the roads in PJ if we want to avoid being mugged or worse, being run down by a truck or car. I will not be able to leave work at 5 to go for a run and in the morning I would need to work too early to go for a run. I like to take my time when I run.

Another cardio which I passionately enjoy is swimming. But doing laps at the downstairs pool can really get a bit boring at times because there is nothing much to see, or hear. Until I found this on ebay.

And this is the only user manual. It is poorly written and sounded like it was translated with google translate without any editing at all.  

Cost less than RM 80, and this is what inside the box. A USB cable for charging and transfer data, arm strap, headsets with 3 pins, and the player.

This is where the 3.5 mm jack goes in, data transfer, and also charging point.

Centre button is for on/off and play/pause. The other 4 buttons are for volume control and forward/back.

This is how the underwater headset looks like. The length is about 300 mm. 

This was how I wear it. I wore it with the arm strap on my side and the cable ran on my back to behind my head. I used the pins on my goggles.

I swam in this position for about 30 laps with free style and it felt fine. I tried it out with few other positions but this was the best as the cables did not bother me in the water. I am happy that I got this unit and I hope that I will use it more, and more importantly, I hope it lasts long enough to make what I paid for worthwhile.

Menya Mushashi Isetan Eat Paradise 1 Utama

The wife ordered me to head to 1 Utama which was 15 minutes drive away on one weekend only with one purpose, great Japanese ramen. 

With obvious determination to prove to me that this is one ramen to die for, I nooded and we got into the car and there we went. 

We arrived seeing a queue and I was like, seriously... a queue for ramen???! and what...???!!! at this price???!!! But after seeing a seemingly Japanese guy walking around the shop, and after a closer inspection and understood a crew of all Japanese chefs.... I was convinced. We waited for 15 minutes and we were asked to order at the counter first, then shown to our seats. 

Soon I realized that the chasiu ramen that I ordered was one of the best that I have ever tasted, even better than the one I had in Tokyo. 

The broth tasted nice, the meat cooked to perfection, and the noodle was tender and didn't taste like instant noodle. This ramen kicks ass. But at close to RM 40 per bowl, it definitely should, to keep the shop open.

Munich Gastro Bierhaus, IOI Boulevard

After my first visit during a lunch meeting with a client, I vowed to come back again to let my wife to have a taste of some good German food at this place.

Munich is not the newest or the nicest restaurant around this area, but one thing for sure is that the food here is to kill for, at a very reasonable price.

The last time when I was here I ordered one of the set lunch which was meat loaf and some chips. But this time around I was back here with a vengeance, and I ordered the pork knuckle which cost just right below RM 50. After listening to the waitress who repeated our orders and waited for only 15 minutes, I was served with the biggest piece of pork in my entire life.

The pork had very tick but crunchy skin and I eat the whole thing together with some salad and a potato. 

I also ordered beer, RM 48 for 2 pints. If I were there before 7 pm, I could even get 3 at this price, that is at a very competitive price of RM 16 per pint.

After washing the whole knuckle down, I was full. This was not a very healthy meal.

Day 5: Gerik - Kuala Kangsar - Bidor - Petaling Jaya 20th Apr 2012

We began the final day of our journey back home after we had breakfast at a chinese coffee shop nearby the hotel.

Both of us had Wan Ton noodle.

We started our journey at about 8.30 am and we plan to stop at Kuala Kangsar for fuel. 

I stopped by here to take a photo of the mountain. The view was great.

Both of us decided to stop when we reach this bridge Jambatan Raja Muda Nazrin on the 76.

We had some time to kill so we decided to fool around a little. 

So this is how I look like on my bike.

After a while we got bored and went on our way. Riding partner suggested to have lunch at his favourite pass by town Bidor to have lunch.

I had my fair share of noodle for the day so it was just pau and dum sum for me. We chill a little bit and we went on our way. 

For the rest of the journey, it was highway all the way. I cruised at top speed and emptied my tank with only 220 km. Usually the one full tank could last me until 300 km.

We bid goodbyes after reached Petaling Jaya on the last day of our trip.

This is the final picture of the trip. The mileage when I got home was 10,880 km.

It was an amazing trip long way round Malaysia and I hope I will be able to do it again some time.
