Ray, Johnny and I hop on our bikes to explore route 9 from KL - Tampin - Kuala Pilah - Simpang Pertang - Karak.
We started off early that day, started the journey at Seremban rnr at about 6.30 am. It was a good start when everyone arrived on time. By around 7.15 am we were already at Tampin town having breakfast. By 8 am we were already on our bikes.
Ray getting ready.
Johnny still checking his phone.
The journey start off with new, silky roads towards Kuala Pilah.
I am very pleased with this photo of the morning. Bit crooked though.
We refuel at this place call Senaling, which I found out it's a place at Kuala Pilah.
Ray in his happy pose.
It was a really beautiful morning to ride.
How can you resist a snap shot at an arch like this.
Follow the brown sign which shows a Hutan Lipur Serting Ulu. Later on I checked the GPS coordinate is here 2.868946, 102.194706.
This is what engraved on the entrance - it says do not mess around the stuffs here, don't drive you car in here unless permitted, do not burn stuffs, do not litter, do not vandalise, do not loiter or do anything immoral.
There was this creepy lake in here.
Eerie looking lake. Reminds me of some Japanese horror movie.
The way into the forest.
We left the spot later on and found ourselves continue on the road on the 9. The last 20 kilometers before Karak was not in good condition with many holes and pebbles on the road.
We reached Bentong for lunch and we had chicken rice.
This was delicious.
After lunch we decided to go to this waterfall nearby Bentong. The GPS location is here. 3.510762, 101.857381
The waterfall is just beside where you park your car / bike so it is fairly easy to get down here. The water here is cooling and clean. I would recommend to anyone to try this out.
The gang.
